Financial Assistance & Work-Study Opportunities
At Legacy Performing Arts Academy, we believe every child deserves access to quality dance education.
Legacy Performing Arts Academy is committed to providing access to exceptional dance education for all students, regardless of financial circumstances.
We offer limited tuition assistance and work-study placements each season to support families facing financial hardship. These opportunities reflect our belief that artistic excellence and training should not be limited by economic barriers.
All requests are handled with care and kept completely confidential. While availability is limited and reviewed on a case-by-case basis, we will always do our best to support your dancer’s access to training.
WHAT IS WORK-STUDY?
Work-study is a need-based financial aid opportunity that allows students (typically ages 12 and up) or their parents to contribute to the daily operations of the studio in exchange for partial tuition assistance.
Participants are expected to uphold a high standard of professionalism, reliability, and commitment. Responsibilities may include administrative support, assisting faculty, studio maintenance, event staffing, or production assistance.
Participation in the work-study program is both a financial aid resource and a meaningful way to stay engaged in the daily life and culture of the school. These placements are limited and must be applied for in advance.
Selected students or parents should demonstrate strong reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude — and be excited to contribute to the energy and excellence of our studio community.

Tuition Assistance
Partial tuition assistance may be awarded based on demonstrated financial need, student commitment, and program availability. All information submitted is reviewed confidentially and evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Scholarship funding is made possible through the generous contributions of individuals, businesses, community members, foundations, and Legacy board members who believe in supporting the next generation of artists and ensuring that financial hardship is never a barrier to high-quality dance training and access to the arts.
