Born and raised in Queens, New York, Soraya Lundy is a globally recognized dancer, choreographer, and educator whose work has taken her across the world and onto the stage with some of the biggest names in pop, hip-hop/R&B, and reggaeton. With over 16 years of experience, she blends strong classical training with bold, authentic movement—and a passion for storytelling through dance.

As a performer, Soraya has danced in videos and onstage for international icons including Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, Missy Elliott, Daddy Yankee, and Drake, as well as commercial clients like Nike and Reebok. As a choreographer, her credits include stage and tour work for Rihanna, Cardi B, Sean Paul, Pitbull, Khalid, and Drake, along with campaigns for Smirnoff, Pepsi, Nike, and Adidas.

Soraya began her formal training at the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts before going on to study ballet and modern at the Alvin Ailey School and Martha Graham Center of Contemporary Dance. She also honed her hip hop technique at Blade Academy of the Arts and the Hip-Hop Dance Conservatory, where she was awarded a scholarship.

Her teaching career spans the globe with workshops and residencies in Russia, Chile, Japan, and more. She currently teaches at EXPG-NY and has served on faculty at New York’s top institutions, including Broadway Dance Center and Peridance Center.

A proud Haitian-Jamaican American, Soraya infuses her cultural heritage into her work, most notably through her crew—a collective dedicated to empowering dancers through unapologetic movement and sisterhood. She is also a member of Sharaya J’s BanjiBabez, whose mantra she lives by: Be Authentic and Never Jeopardize Individuality.

Though she has traveled extensively and worked with many of the world’s most iconic performers, Soraya remains grounded in her purpose: to inspire others who love to dance—not just as a pastime, but as a lifelong and professional path.
