She serves as the Ballet Director and Ballet Mistress for Legacy Performing Arts Academy, where she leads the ballet division with a focus on classical technique, artistic consistency, and holistic dancer development. She also serves on Legacy’s Advisory Board, helping shape the academy’s broader vision.
A graduate of Canada’s National Ballet School, Sarah spent nearly a decade performing with The National Ballet of Canada, dancing soloist and principal roles. She has also performed featured roles with BalletMet (Soloist), Ballet Minnesota, International Classical Ballet (Guest Principal), New York Dance Project, Fenton Ballet Theater, and Traverse City Dance Project, and has guested with Dutch National Ballet and Grand Rapids Ballet.
Sarah is currently based in New York City, where she continues her professional performance and as a faculty member at Broadway Dance Center, teaching ballet, recovery, and meditation-based classes.
As a certified Yoga Nidra meditation teacher, she curates holistically beneficial classes that hybridize pilates-based exercises, restorative modalities, meditation, and classical ballet technique. Her approach emphasizes sustainable training — cultivating dancers with strong bodies, clear minds, and deep artistic integrity.
Sarah previously served as Director of the Ballet Program at Company Dance Traverse for four years and as Ballet Master and Co-Rehearsal Director for New York Dance Project, where she coached dancers in technique, repertory, and pre-professional performance preparation.
