Loeke began her formal dance training at age six in Brussels, Belgium, at the Yantra Dance Academy. She later trained at The Rock School for Dance Education before earning a scholarship at fifteen to study at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City under the direction of Era Jouravlev. While at Joffrey, she performed principal roles in The Nutcracker (Sugar Plum Fairy), Don Quixote (Kitri), and Esmeralda, honing her classical artistry and stage presence.
She holds a BFA in Dance from New Jersey City University, earned in partnership with the Joffrey Ballet School. Following graduation, Loeke joined the Cleveland Ballet, where she performed in full-length classical works including The Nutcracker and Coppélia. In 2020, she returned to New York to deepen her academic and artistic studies, where she discovered a love for musical theatre. She was accepted into the Institute for American Musical Theatre (IAMT), training under Michael Minarik, and went on to perform in numerous productions—most recently appearing as General Schmitz and co-dance captain in Seussical the Musical.
Now based in New York City, Loeke teaches ballet and jazz technique and continues to perform as a guest artist. She also serves as a substitute instructor at the Joffrey Ballet School, where she shares her diverse performance background with the next generation of dancers.
As an educator, Loeke leads with clarity, curiosity, and compassion. Her classroom emphasizes strong technical foundation while nurturing individuality, encouraging each student to explore movement with confidence, discipline, and joy.
