Studio Culture & Conduct Policy

Legacy Performing Arts Academy is committed to maintaining a respectful, focused, and professional training environment for all students, families, faculty, and staff.

Enrollment at Legacy requires alignment with the studio’s standards of conduct, communication, and community care. Families are expected to support a positive environment by treating staff, instructors, students, and other families with courtesy and respect at all times.

Behavior that disrupts the learning environment, undermines faculty or staff, creates unnecessary conflict, or negatively impacts the studio community may result in a meeting, suspension, or removal from the program.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Disrespectful or aggressive communication toward staff, faculty, students, or families

  • Gossip, harassment, intimidation, or exclusionary behavior

  • Repeated disregard for studio policies, schedules, or communication procedures

  • Attempts to interfere with class placement, casting, choreography, faculty decisions, or studio operations

  • Conduct that creates a hostile, uncomfortable, or disruptive environment for others

Legacy Performing Arts Academy reserves the right to decline, suspend, or discontinue enrollment when a student or family is unable to align with the studio’s policies, expectations, or community standards.

Class Placement, Schedule & Faculty Policy

Class placement is determined by Legacy Performing Arts Academy based on age, level, technical readiness, maturity, and overall program fit.

Students may transfer to a different class only with approval from Legacy staff. Placement decisions are made in the best interest of the student, the class, and the integrity of the program.

Legacy Performing Arts Academy reserves the right to adjust class schedules, faculty assignments, class groupings, levels, and programming as needed. Schedules and faculty are subject to change.

Students arriving more than 15 minutes late or not in proper dress code may be asked to observe class only.

Communication Policy

To protect class time and maintain a professional environment, all questions regarding scheduling, placement, policies, billing, attendance, or student concerns must be directed to the studio office.

Instructors are not available for parent conferences or administrative questions between classes. Messages for instructors should be sent through the studio office.
Families are expected to communicate respectfully and allow reasonable response time. Repeated or inappropriate communication may result in review of enrollment status.

These policies are in place to preserve a safe, respectful, and focused training environment where students can grow with discipline, confidence, and care. Failure to uphold these standards may result in suspension or removal from the program. Tuition and fees are non-refundable in cases of dismissal due to policy violations.
