Legacy Performing Arts Academy is home to a growing team of passionate, experienced, staff members and teaching artists. Our faculty includes professional dancers, choreographers, educators, and multidisciplinary artists who bring real-world insight and a shared commitment to inspiring the next generation of movers. This multi-faceted group has been carefully selected to offer Legacy’s blend of classical, contemporary, and commercial dance training at the highest level. Our faculty members come from leading dance institutions and companies, bringing with them a deep well of professional knowledge and a commitment to educational excellence.
FOUNDER, DIRECTOR

Priscilla Lomotey is a multi-disciplinary creator, choreographer, and educator whose career blends technical excellence with bold storytelling through movement, music, and technology.
Over the past decade, she has shared her knowledge with thousands of students across Westchester, New York City, the U.S., and internationally—always with a focus on preserving dance culture, etiquette, and artistic integrity. She has developed and founded programs and dance companies in schools and surrounding communities that accelerate student learning, deepen artistic understanding, and provide meaningful performance opportunities. Whether her students pursue dance professionally or recreationally, Priscilla emphasizes self-respect, confidence, and mutual regard as essential qualities for growth in both art and life. Her own artistry has taken her to global stages, performing with icons like Beyoncé and collaborating with brands such as Nike, Adidas, and Sephora. She has graced platforms like the MTV Video Music Awards, various shows on E! Network with her work featured in the Lincoln Center Film Festival and Wonderland Magazine. As a choreographer and creative director, her campaigns for brands like Sprite, Puma, Lexus, Evian, Maison Kitsuné, and Glossier showcase her gift for blending emotional depth with visual innovation.
At Legacy Performing Arts Academy, Priscilla brings her wide-ranging experience into a nurturing, forward-thinking environment—one that honors the heritage of dance while preparing students to lead with artistry, character, and confidence.

BALLET PROGRAM DIRECTOR
The child of Russian immigrants, Katya has been dancing since she could fill out a leotard. Early training in Los Angeles led her to the School of American Ballet and ultimately to the Boston Ballet.
After her tenure as a ballerina, including representing the United States at the 21st Varna International Ballet Competition, she expanded into all styles of dance. As a commercial and theatre dancer she has worked in numerous films, TV projects, and music videos. She has been performing with The Metropolitan Opera since 2014 and is currently on faculty with the Harkness School of Dance at the 92NY. Both as an actor on stage and screen, as well as a dance educator for students of all ages and abilities. She is grateful to all the great instructors, friends, and family who have helped make her dreams a reality

BALLET, REPERTOIRE, CLASSICAL TECHNIQUE
Tanner began dancing at The Westside School of Ballet in Los Angeles, CA and with Marat Daukayev (Former Principal at the Kirov Ballet). At age 13 he moved to New York to study with the School of American Ballet at Lincoln Center. In 2002 he was the recipient of the D.A.N.C.E. (Danish American National Cultural Exchange) award, to dance as an apprentice with the Royal Danish Ballet. After this, Mr. Schwartz went on to dance with Pennsylvania Ballet, Boston Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, The Washington National Opera, and The Metropolitan Opera. With a career that bridges classical ballet and major opera productions worldwide, Tanner brings world-class experience and a deep passion for performance to every student he mentors.

Demi Trezona trained at the Eugene Ballet Academy and toured with Eugene Ballet Company before attending Pacific Northwest Ballet School’s Professional Division, performing alongside the company. She has danced with Grand Rapids Ballet as a soloist, and performed with Czech National Theater, Boston Ballet, Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, South Dakota Ballet, and Quixotic Fusion.
Demi joined Boston Ballet in 2021, performing works by George Balanchine, William Forsythe, Justin Peck, and Mikko Nissinen. Now based in New York City, she has performed with Tom Gold Dance, Queer the Ballet, and guested with both the National Ballet of Canada and Joffrey Ballet in 2025.

Justin Estelle began his ballet training in Rutland, Vermont, and continued his studies at the National Ballet School of Canada under Giuseppe Canale, with additional training at American Ballet Theatre and the School of American Ballet. He joined the Richmond Ballet trainee program in 2006 and later danced with First State Ballet Theatre, performing numerous principal roles.
Justin has since appeared with Alabama Ballet, Nimbus Dance, New Jersey Ballet, and The Suzanne Farrell Ballet at The Kennedy Center, where he performed works by George Balanchine. His repertoire includes Prince Désiré in Sleeping Beauty, Prince Albrecht and Hilarion in Giselle, Don José in Carmen, the Roper in Rodeo, and featured roles in original works by Viktor Plotnikov.

BALLET, THEATRE JAZZ, PRE-POINTE
Loeke is a Brussels-born dancer and educator currently based in New York City. She trained at The Rock School and the Joffrey Ballet School—where she now serves as a substitute instructor—and holds a BFA in Dance through New Jersey City University in partnership with Joffrey. She has performed principal roles such as Sugar Plum Fairy, Kitri, and Esmeralda, and danced professionally with the Cleveland Ballet in The Nutcracker and Coppélia. After discovering a passion for musical theatre, she trained at the Institute for American Musical Theatre and recently appeared as General Schmitz in Seussical the Musical.
